Z-flex
Z-Flex was founded by Jay Adams’ step-father Kent Sherwood as a home for the original Z-boys. Kent made the original Zephyr skateboards for Jeff Ho’s Zephyr shop in Dogtown (Z for "Zephyr"). Z-flex became a pioneer in the skateboard industry with ground-breaking innovations such as the first fiberglass skateboard, the first patented truck and the first concave deck.
